Tropical Butterfly House

 
Experience the colourful world of the butterflies at the Tropical Butterfly House, located at the Santa Margarida Environmental Park, in Constância. Its main purpose is to enlighten the visitors about the biology and ecology of these insects and to publicise the importance of wildlife conservation. 

Inside the Butterfly House, the weather is always hot and steamy. So, it is possible to keep alive during all year the tropical butterflies which flutter about amidst the foliage. 

Scientists, students, teachers, families with our without children and tourists can all discover at the Butterfly House a special universe which is truly exotic. Watch various species of butterflies, including some of considerable size, all of astonishing beauty. To enter the Butterfly House is to experience the tropics at the Environmental Park by encountering a world of wonder.
