River Beach of Castanheira or Lago Azul

 
On the River Beach of Castanheira, also known as “Lago Azul”, one can dive into the clean waters of the River Zêzere. Located at the Castelo do Bode Reservoir, it has great facilities, such as floating pool, bar, restaurant, first aid, lifeguard during the summer season, access for disabled people and car park. This is the ideal place for the practise of various water sports, such as windsurf, sailing, Jet Ski, wakeboard, kayaking and pedal boating, canoeing and sport fishing.
