Green Space Surrounding the Sanctuary of Fátima

 
The green area which surrounds the Sanctuary of Fátima, in Cova da Iria, is an important ecologic structure perfectly framed in the urban setting. Stroll through holm-oaks, cypresses and olive-trees. The place has quite a few shadows and serves as a resting spot for the many pilgrims who go to the Sanctuary of Fátima.
