St John and the City Festival

 
During the week which coincides with the 24th of June, a festive atmosphere takes over Entroncamento. Devoted to St John the Baptiste, the festival has traditional, amusement and religious characteristics. 

Delight yourself with the gastronomic displays and stroll through the Handicraft Fair. Enjoy the music shows, the theatre performances, the merry-go-rounds, the bouncy castles and the sports activities. 

The religious ceremonies take place on 24 June, devoted to St John the Baptiste. The celebrations begin with the procession that goes from the Church of the Holy Family to the St John the Baptiste Chapel, where it is held the outdoor mass devoted to the patron saint.
