Holy Week in Ourém

 
During the Holy Week, Ourém is the stage of a recreation of the Jesus Christ’s last day alive on Earth. The Way of the Cross is performed by close to 80 extras, accompanied by the Philharmonic Society of Ourém and by prayers and songs. The Funeral Procession on the Holy Friday stands out among the festivities.
