Serra de Santo António Parochial Church

The Serra de Santo António Parochial Church is an exemplar of the baroque style. Erected in the 18th century, the church was rebuilt in 1907, date inscribed on the façade. Despite having been reconstructed, it kept the original structure.

The baroque’s luxuriance is visible on the carving of the three altars, the ceiling and the holy water basin. On the other hand, the main altar in stone features simple lines, having four columns with crafted capitals. The pulpit is also made of stone. On the ceiling, find the image of Saint António.
