Seiça Church

The Seiça Church, devoted to Nossa Senhora da Purificação, has an ashlar of seventeenth-century tiles, a marble pulpit from the same time period and three sixteenth-century sculptures.

According to a traditional story, D. Nuno Álvares Pereira prayed there to the patron saint to express gratitude for the victory at the Aljubarrota battle.
