São João Baptista Chapel

 
The São João Baptista Chapel, near the Sertã Castle, comprises a nave and a presbytery, which is covered in barrel vault, being still possible to see some paintings or frescos. 

Through archaeological excavations, it was possible to discover two overlaid chapels. There must have been at the place an early Medieval Church, later the first parish church of the village.
