| The Santo António Chapel, in Sertã, is a pilgrimage temple, where tiles from the 17th century can be found. On the altar appreciate the sculpture of Saint Anthony of Lisbon from the first half of the 18th century.
This chapel was quite popular among the livestock farmers, who used to take three laps to the building with the animals in order to tame them, a tradition that was meanwhile lost. |
