Santo António Chapel – Pedrógão Pequeno

 
The Santo António Chapel, whose construction is previous to 1730, is located in the oldest part of the village of Pedrógão Pequeno and is built-in over granite rocks, which are still quite prominent at the front and left base. 

Because of the advanced state of ruin it was in, the chapel underwent profound refurbishment works in 1963. The image of Saint António which can currently be seen in the chapel was placed there in the same year.
