| Built at the beginning of the 16th century, the Parish Church of Pedrógão Pequeno is divided in three naves and a presbytery, with two sacristies leaning on the lateral naves and a bell tower attached to the façade.
Behold the four lateral altars with altarpieces in gilded carving. The ceiling of the temple is in straight panelled wood. Scenes of the life of Saint John the Baptist are painted in five coffers at the central nave. It was classified as Public Interest Property in 1993. |
