Olival Old Church

It is believed that the construction of the Olival Old Church, devoted to Nossa Senhora da Purificação, took place between 1210 and 1211. But the actual structure dates back to the 14th century and was subject to repairs in the 17th, 18th, 19th and 21st centuries.

Comprising only one nave, the church is ennobled by the lateral chapels and the presbytery, where there is a beautiful altarpiece in gild. Find inside the baroque tiles, a painting over board from the 17th century, many sculptures, a graceful baptismal font, vestments and religious ornaments.
