Nossa Senhora dos Remédios Chapel
The constable Nuno Álvares Pereira kept special devotion to Nossa Senhora do Olival – name by which the chapel was known until the 18th century. A replica of his sword can be found on the lateral door of the chapel. Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, 6100 Sertã N 39º 48'03.27" / W 8º 04'56.10"
The remains found at the place makes one presume that the Nossa Senhora dos Remédios Chapel was built over an old Templar monastery. It is a simple chapel with medieval features from which it stands out the typical Gothic arch at the entrance and the traditional stele over the lateral door, near which is engraved a Templar cross.
