Nossa Senhora do Pranto Chapel

The Nossa Senhora do Pranto Chapel was ordered to be built in 1697 by Pero Eanes, prior of the Order of Christ. The chapel, built with a single nave, has in one of the façades a small bell tower and the portal is framed with an arch.

Inside the temple, admire the small painted and gold wood altar with the image of Nossa Senhora do Pranto sculpted in an unbroken stone and flanked by two round niches without frames.
