| Built in 1902, the Nossa Senhora da Confiança Chapel is characterised by simplicity and comprises only one nave, with a choir over the main entrance. The altars are of great value, due to the old carving which belonged to the old Convent of Santo António in Sertã.
Admire on the ceiling the painting of a broken coat of arms, which has in one of the sides the coat of arms of Pedrógão Pequeno, an eagle flying over a valley where a river flows, and on the other the “A and M”, standing for “Avé Maria”, overlaid on monogram. Between 7 and 9 of September, it takes place at the chapel one of the oldest and busiest pilgrimages of the region. |
