Nossa Senhora da Conceição Church – Louriceira

The Nossa Senhora da Conceição Church was originally built in 1511, following the Manueline style, but, after many reconstructions, it was subject to various alterations.

The main body of the temple is lined with blue and white tiles from the 16th century, which used to cover it in its entirety. It has a spout gable flanked by a low tower with a squared base following the cinquecentist features, the side doors are Manueline with slashed sticks. Discover, on the upper surface of the presbytery, three ornamental gargoyles.
