Misericórdia Church of Abrantes

 
Built in the 16th century, at the initiative of the Prince D. Fernando, the Misericórdia Church is formed by a single nave, without transept, but with high-choir supported by Doric columns.

Admire the sixteenth century boards by the Master of Abrantes, which represent the various phases of the life of Christ, and the exuberant main altar in gilded carving, placed in 1729, after the restauration of the church.
