D. Lopo de Almeida Museum

 
Set up in 1921, the D. Lopo Almeida Museum is located inside the Santa Maria do Castelo Church. Unveil an important art, heritage and historical collection featuring paintings, sculptures, archaeological pieces, vestments and golden carving. Be dazzled by the Almeida family’s gothic tombs from the 15th and 16th centuries, which stand out because of its rare Seville glazed tile in dry rope technique.
