Archaeology Interpretation Centre of Alto Ribatejo

 
The Archaeology Interpretation Centre distinguishes itself by being the only infrastructure of the kind in Portugal. At this place mainly aimed at the youngsters, one can visit a permanent exhibition where it is represented the archaeological collection of the North of Ribatejo. 

It was created through a partnership of the Municipal Council of Vila Nova da Barquinha and many non-governmental organisations, related with heritage and research, in close cooperation with the sector of Archaeology and Pre-history of the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar.
