The superb natural surroundings with view to the Tagus serve as background for the sculptures by artists who have worked since the 60’s until the present day. Many artists are part of this project: Alberto Carneiro, Ângela Ferreira, Carlos Nogueira, Cristina Ataíde, Fernanda Fragateiro, Joana Vasconcelos, José Pedro Croft, Pedro Cabrita Reis, Rui Chafes, Xana and Zulmiro de Carvalho.  

Discover the pieces scattered around the seven hectares of the Barquinha Park, which won the National Prize of Landscape Architecture in 2007 in the category of “Exterior Spaces for Public Use”.

At this space there are many artistic ateliers, an exhibition gallery, a shop, a library, temporary lodging for creators, entertainment spaces for children, sports equipment and riverbank footpaths.
