Adães Bermudes School

 
This was the first building in the municipality to be built from scratch with the intent to house a school. It started functioning in 1904 only as a school for boys. In 1921, some girls from Montalvo were allowed to attend classes for the first time, after being opened on the rear of the school a new building funded by the teacher Manoel Vicente Nogueira.

It currently houses a nursery school.
