Vale de Junco Roman Archaeological Site

 
The Vale de Junco Roman Archaeological Site is an old settlement which shows evidences of having been occupied by the Romans. Located close to the River Tagus, the village must have had an area of close to two hectares and was placed at a sloping plateau surrounded by olive grove.

Discover the rectilinear walls which enclosed the thermal spa complex area, dated from the 3rd or 4th century AD. 

Various segments of common ceramics, glass, metal and some roman coins were found at this archaeological site.
