Casais de Abadia Archaeological Site

The Casais de Abadia Archaeological Site is a mix of remains of settlements from the Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Roman, Medieval and Modern periods. 

Walls and a well from the roman period, medieval and modern walls, an axe, blades and remnants of flint cuttings, pottery, part of a roman millstone and modern coins were identified during the archaeological excavation of 1999. Tombstones from the 16th and 17th centuries were also found inside the building.
