Alcolobre Roman Ruins

Uncover the remains of the Roman presence in the municipality of Constância. The visible parts of the structures were part of a thermal complex of a roman villa from the 1st to the 3rd centuries. A weir for water retention, remains of a construction scattered along a curve, which may be part of a water conducting channel, the necropolis and open-cast pits for the extraction of gold ore were found on the stream of Alcolobre.
