| The Nature Park of Agroal, close to the River Nabão, is integrated in the Natural Site Sicó-Alvaiázere. Its main purpose is to raise awareness for the importance of nature conservation. Come discover the geomorphology and hydrology, the flora and fauna, through the Environmental Interpretation Centre of Alto Nabão and the two available footpaths.
The Interpretation Centre does many activities throughout the year and has a permanent exhibition about the fauna and flora of the region. It also has a multipurpose room for activities and an exhibition room. In the exterior there is a local vegetation interpretative garden, a picnic area with a grill, camping area, toilets, sinks and washing tanks. To use the park, you need to require permission to the municipal company Ourémviva, entity responsible for the management of the space. |
