Usually known as “the lung of the Sanctuary of Fátima”, the Valinhos and Aljustrel Hill is a space where one can enjoy good times in communion with nature. It has mainly native species, such as olive-trees, kermes oak, holm-oaks and small bushes.

Besides having an ecological and environmental character, this space also intends to convey an ambience of symbolism and spirituality. It was at this place that the three apparitions of the Angel (two at “Loca” and the other at the backyard of the Lúcia’s house) happened and through which the three little shepherds of Fátima passed in direction to Cova da Iria. Currently it is also the chosen path by many pilgrims and visitors during the year.
