| The António Cartaxo da Fonseca Municipal Library is a public service of informative nature of the Municipal Council of Tomar. Its first mission is to contribute to the cultural development and to eradicate the barrier between the individual and the knowledge.
It has two reading rooms, one for adults and other for children, an area for exhibitions, an audio-visuals room, space for internet access and auditorium.
